Kapital Moto TV is proud to announce that we are sponsoring World Endurance Championship rider, Alex Cudlin, throughout the 2008 season.

This is Alex's third season in the World Endurance Championship, all of those with the British based Diablo 666 team. Alex secured the accolade of Rookie of the Year in the 2006 and followed that up last year by continuing to produce strong riding displays at all WEC events.

Alex hails from Taree on the New South Wales north coast in Australia and has an enviable race record in that country. Riding in the World Endurance Series is a family affair for the Cudlins as Alex's brother Damian is riding for Phase One in the 2008 season.

Throughout the season Alex will be exclusively providing Kapital Moto TV with video diary updates, documenting what will hopefully be his successes this year! Good luck Alex and welcome.

07/02/2008Kapital Moto TV Switches to Flash Player

Kapital Moto TV has now fully switched to Flash player for viewing our online content. After a successful two month trial of the new Flash Player 9 Update 3, we feel it's time to flick the switch. Download it now and try the fullscreen experience!

Adobe's latest Flash player supports H.264 content, so all KMTV's existing QuickTime files play back perfectly. We're please to be able to continue to offer you, our audience, a high quality viewing experience.

Recently Adobe announced that their new Flash Player 9 update 3, now supports H.264 encoded content. That's good news for KMTV as all our videos already use this format. The new Flash player works very well with KMTV content and looks great.

You'll need to install the new Flash player by following the simple instructions on the Adobe website. Flash Player 9 Update 3 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

22/10/2007Announcing KMTV World

Kapital Moto TV, a leading online destination for high quality motorcycle videos, has recently launched KMTV World.

KMTV World allows visitors to view a world map pinpointing videos filmed at various locations. Clicking on a red starred location will load a list of videos created at those co-ordinates. Visitors then choose the content they wish to watch, which loads immediately in a specifically sized new browser window.

Many of Kapital Moto TV's videos are race track based. Using the Satellite view in KMTV World and zooming in closely to a circuit location, visitors can easily visualise the track layout at the same time the video is playing.

KMTV World uses the Google Maps API and custom PHP code to produce the mashup. New locations are added, to a bespoke content management system, as precise GPS co-ordinates. These locations can then be associated with new video content as it is uploaded.

The majority of clips on Kapital Moto TV are UK and European based. However, a growing body of videos from around the globe are being added. Visitors are encouraged to submit their own original content to Kapital Moto TV for inclusion on the site.
